Yup. Australian here, the majority of what we get is foreign, mostly American with a subset of British.

Any and all media I consume, let alone like, is necessarily foreign, because the entertainment industry in my country sucks.

^ mostly relevant to Americans

I watched the French series Les Temoins and I liked it okay? It was a bit law of diminishing returns, but I really liked everyone in it. The characters were all giant cliches, but they worked (although maybe that had to do with it being in French and I was less likely to be bothered by it.)

International Film Festival was on, my faves were (so now I'm tracking to get them):

(I'm turning this into a promo for various shorts and movies i.e motherfucking Cargo will give you whiplash for a zombie movie!)

The Coffin in the Mountains (China)

- Song of the Sea (Ireland)

- The Assassin (Taiwan)

- Dearest (China - this one is 18+ about child abduction fyi :( )

- 3 Minutes 10 bullets (USA)

- Charlie's Country (repeat from last year but soooo goood - Australia)

- Putuparri and the rainmakers (Australia)

- Dark Age (Australia - olllldd)

NGL did those last 3 in the hopes of getting you buggers interested in Aboriginal culture :P I'd give you the gulpil shorts but i doubt they're gonna be released... *rebels against rules*

A Honeymoon in Hell: Mr. & Mrs. Oki's Fabulous Trip (2011) is one I've been trying to get since 2011. It was sooooo good but can't find it anywhere (with subtitles).

Everything I was/read/listen to is foreign with a couple of exceptions.

I don't think of American or British media as foreign, but in this context it is. Most of the media I consume is in English.
