Overt makeup and unnatural hair colors look horrible to me. Obviously I never share this opinion because what others wear is none of my business. Still, I cannot seem to curb my private negative reaction to them.

Same. Every time I see someone with dyed neon hair, it looks terrible. Roots are usually showing. And they're slouching around the grocery store dressed sloppily. You dye your hair something like teal, then you'd better be prepared to maintain it and have the style to match.

Obviously I never share this opinion because it shows what a judgmental bitch I am.

Lol, I have teal hair (or more like bluey forest green) and I think it looks spiffing, but it's also very short and neat, and I dress up. I'm really allergic to "natural" colour hair dye, I'm bored of henna plus it's messy and very permanent, very bored of blonde & toner maintenance, and my natural hair colour is mouse brown with grey :/ Seriously, in nearly 100 years and science hasn't come up with a "natural" hair dye that isn't based on the commonly-allergenic phenylenediamine and similar??

I'm really into intense colours (I'm a jewellery designer) and hair is no exception but what frustrates me is that "unnatural" colours take so much maintenance to not look crap, not just in the colour, but in the styling. "Natural" hair can look au naturel and my hair when I grow it longer than about an inch is super bouffy and needs a LOT of styling, so it's a pain to have longer intense colour hair that looks decent.

I'll have you know that my (currently) dark purple hair is the very embodiment of fabulous. It's pretty much the only part of my appearance that I don't hate.

IMO, dark purple hair sounds awesome. :)
