Some grade school "Does he like me?" shit under this post.

There's a guy my brother is friends with. I think he's kind of cool but I'm not sure. Here is the stuff that made me think twice:

-He sat really close to me in a booth. There was a lot of booth on the other side, man
-He came up to me and said "I found your OKCupid profile. It was cool, I hope you don't mind that I liked it"
-My brother said "I wonder what *his name* will do" when I was talking about creepy things guys have said to me
-I hugged him goodbye and he announced "You're a good hugger! She's a good hugger!" to everyone.

I am literally an idiot, is this guy interested at all or just super friendly?

He's just trying to appear friendly.

Alright. I don't interact much with guys, so it's really hard for me to tell.

It's hard to tell. Does he treat anyone else this way? My guess is that he's interested, but also too chicken to just ask you out because getting rejected by a girl is OMG THE WORST BRO. If you're interested, ask him out. That's what mature adults do.

You should've asked him sweetly why *his name* would consider it any of his business. But then, this kind of protective caveman nonsense kind of rubs me the wrong way, regardless of whether or not that guy is interested in you.

I think he meant "I wonder what creepy things *his name* will say to you", not "I wonder if *his name* will beat them up". But my brother is hard to read at the best of times.

The OKCupid comment is what struck me the most as flirtation. I don't think there'd be any other way to interpret that. Your brother's comment also is indicative of something, but since it's a second hand comment, tough to say. The other things are pretty inconclusive, but yeah. OKCupid line, most likely not platonic.

I would guess interested, but I can't say for sure. Needs more context. Also sometimes people just act in weird ways. Best way to find out? Ask. Second-best way? Ask your brother; they might have talked about it.

Sounds like he might be. Thing is, are you interested in him? If so, offer to give him the V and go for it. You'll sharp find out what his steaze is.
