Obnoxious but weirdly honorable military sci-fi writer with a love for big guns and staunch soldiers. Best-known for the "Oh John Ringo No!" review of a series even he admits is pure self-indulgence. (For what it's worth, he approved use of the phrase on a shirt to raise money for charity.) Has an incredibly childish feud with John Scalzi because he didn't think Redshirts deserved a Hugo. (Scalzi posted a pic of himself with the Hugo and the caption U MAD, BRO?) Last heard of siding with the Sad Puppies and then deleting the post.

I had never heard of him and thought the same, so I was really wondering if that anime was about 4 characters, and the least prominent / popular one ending up being the savior of the day or something.
