I'm gay and so are many of my friends! What, do straight writers think we intentionally avoid each other and that there can only be one gay person occupying a given social group?

Like, Lesbian #1 stakes a claim on all of her straight friends and has to defend her territory by chasing off other lesbians that get too close?
