Possibly Gross Medical Question

(Anonymous) 2015-08-25 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
How can you tell if you have a UTI? I haven't had any burning or pain when I pee, but there's discomfort if I touch the area with my finger. I've also been needing to pee every few minutes when usually I'm like a camel. I've also been really listless and irritable, and have a very faint ache in my abdomen on the right side.

(There is no way this could possibly be an STD btw. I haven't had sex in years. I have also obviously made a doctor's appointment which I won't get for a week, but usually I've been able to tell there's an infection beforehand.)

The burning sensation is the most common symptom, but honestly, I'd see a doctor about this. You don't want to mess around with this stuff. In the meantime, hit the cranberry juice or supplements.
