Carl and Ellie in Up. Not helped at all by the fact that I lost both grandparents on my dad's side recently, and seriously not helped at all by this fanvid ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOmZ66lIzJA ) I saw later, which is their story set to Alan Jackson's 'Remember When'. The plane ticket in particular ... Shit.

I definitely got misty through Up. I think what got me was that it was such a cute relationship and was portrayed very realistically, which is often not the case in the stuff that comes out of Hollywood.

I'm a million times more likely to get choked up over things that feel real rather than things that seem thrown in just to get a reaction.
