Then he added me to his Netflix account and also added a bunch of various "channels" including Plex and PBS etc. The Plex is awesome as he got a bunch of movies and TV shows, downloaded them and made available on Plex for my mom to watch.
There is still a separate DVD only option.
I have no idea how Netflix is supposed to work normally on TV's, if you need a Roku device or not. I'm sorry I'm not that technologically savvy!

Streaming: pay based on the number of "screens" (1, 2 or 4) $7.99 - 11.99/month (USD)
DVD: 1, 2 or 3 out at a time, or a budget option of 2 DVDs a month 7.99 - 15.99 (USD)
(a bit more if you want BluRay).
