I'm sorry, OP. Being passionate about fandom is harmless enough in most cases, so I don't think you have anything to feel ashamed about. (Especially to the point where you won't even mention it... I feel like most people wouldn't have that negative a reaction to you just saying, “I'm into this thing." As long as you don't steer the conversation to that thing daily when you know the other person isn't really interested, that's alright. And if we're talking f!s or tumblr... Post what you want. People can either skip your comments or unfollow you if they get bored. Fandom should be fun!) I say this even as I feel a bit guilty for reblogging nonstop Kingsman, but whatever. It isn't enough to make me stop.

As for the teasing, I know it sucks (I've had it too, mostly when younger; about LOTR, occasionally about gaming) but people who would try to make you feel bad about a hobby aren't worth listening to. (As long as your hobby isn't cannibalism. Which it isn't. Hopefully.)

I hope you can one day be open about your interest and find someone equally as enthusiastic.
