Re: At what point would you not support an author's work?

Eh, I don't think there's anything that would make me not read an author's work if I was really, really interested, but it might severely decrease my enjoyment of said work, especially if I can now see the views that made them so horrible in it.

But I have so little time to read these days that there's more than enough stuff that's excellent by people who aren't shitlords IRL that my plate is full and I'll probably never get around to reading the shitlord stuff.

Oh and if they're spending their earnings on something abhorrent (e.g. Card and his anti-gay campaign donations), I'd download anything I read and never give them a dime.
