Probably the same thing that makes men responsible for 99% of violence. I'm extremely hesitant to buy into any of the standard far left responses (it's about power, entitlement etc etc just don't hold up when you start comparing rates of violence to different demographics of men).

Where is this 66%? I'd always hear it was around 90% so your comment actually made me look it up, and yeah, in the US, men commit 90.5% of murders and 88% of aggravated assaults. Even looking at all violent crime, it's 81/19.
