This. You can certainly call attention to the horrible things a celebrity did without deliberately pissing on someone's parade. The fan may not know about what happened, but the way the person on tumblr did it seeks to shame the fan anyway... how is that helpful? Making people feel bad for stuff they didn't know about? There are ways to give people a heads up without making them feel like they're purposefully condoning sexual assault and rape.
