If the games wonderful but the plot is shit, I won't bother too long, unless it's going for no plot at all (ex: retro games, a la pac man)

If the games plot is great but gameplay is shit, I"m looking for all the cutscenes on youtube and that's that.

Gameplay is slightly more important, but it's two pillars leaning against each other. You take away too much of one, both are gonna fall.
