It's a combination of us not knowing what happened besides that it was something bad, hearing a bunch of unconfirmed rumors about cheating, then reading your comments sounding very cynical regardless of whether they were directly related to any of this or not. You do comment sparingly but the overwhelming majority of those spare comments are cynical, and from the side of those anons who didn't know the story, jumping to hurt and bitter about cheating looks like the natural conclusion.

You have a life, but they don't hear about it, so they can only go on what you tell them, which is to not trust people and cheaters suck. You know?
