I think Sam is utterly awesome but yeah - i don't have a great handle on him as yet.
Need Moar Sam!
Re: "Review me!"
If you're anything like me, the urge to write out the fight the scene was strong, but I love that you didn't. Watching everything unfold as Bucky would have experienced it added something. And the exploration of Bucky and Tony's similarities was something I never really thought about. You'd think Tony's issues wouldn't be so easily forgotten given that they were a good 70 percent of Iron Man 3, but I did. And now that you point it out, it makes perfect sense, so I loved seeing that.
It's nice to know that more than Steve can help him out. Might there be a Natasha part in the future? Seems like of all them, those three (Steve, Tony and Tasha)would be the most able to relate.

And yes - fight scenes are *awesome*. But they are also super-tricky to write. Too much step-by-step detail and it's like reading a police report or a how-to. Too little? And you've got no tension or excitement.
But being in Bucky's pov, it seemed natural to skip it, as I could only see his flashback as being a huge blank in his mind, everything too overwhelming to really process.
I loved how Tony's panic attacks were treated in IM3 - how he was incredulous and pissed off that he was *having* them, and completely unable to actual *deal* with them, as well. A very bad feeling for a guy who likes to be in control.
It seemed that, despite his frivolous 'public' personality, Tony would definitely be a person who *got* those kind of things.
I am actually doing a part three, and there is more Natasha, though at the moment she's not actively helping Bucky. Thanks for the great commentary!
