Re: op

So, op, I realize this is several days late and you might be gone for good and never see this, but I just wanted to put my two cents in, since I feel like my situation has a lot of similarities to yours. I had a very close fandom friend that I spent a lot of time writing with, and had a crush on. Eventually I said something about it, and luckily they had a crush on me as well, and that was also when I found out they were ftm (which was not an issue for me, though there was still a bit of adjustment). I had also at the time not dated anyone else or been in a relationship, so a lot of our early stuff, I was still questioning if it was going to last/was real attraction/etc.

As far as 'lacking in boy parts', others have covered the whole aspect of that not being confined to ftm/relevant to guyness, so I'll cover something more practical - to be honest, I kind of love that my guy doesn't have the standard equipment. (Though I'd probably never say it in such blunt terms to him, since it's a sensitive subject.) I'm not stuck with a dick that is too long/short/uncomfortable/whatever, and I can have all the variety I want. I don't have to worry about him being able to stay hard, or feel terrible or like a failure if he did go limp (thanks other terrible cisguys), there's no mess from that (though there are different kinds of mess), and I'll never have to fear getting pregnant (which may be a downside for many people, but I find everything about pregnancy nauseating, so huge plus for me).

So, I mean, every time I hear people talking about how not having a bio dick is such a dealbreaker, I'm always a little baffled, considering that all my experiences with them have been meh, compared to pretty great experiences with toys. (Especially feeldoes, which while not a great fit for many, ended up being fantastic for us both.)
