I can relate. I think it's because I have a threshold for how much I can handle passive entertainment where I just sit and stare at a screen with nothing to do for my hands, and TV shows go over that threshold. Movies don't, especially if I'm watching it with other people.

The only reason I was even able to finish Daredevil (other than it was really, really compelling) was because it was short with only 13 episodes.

I also have big problems with how TV as a medium is set up -- i.e. it's all centered around commercials.
