I mean of course it does--we want to know as much scientific, medical information about human beings as we can--but practically, who gives a shit?

I agree with all this "born this way" shit. I don't think most people would make such a potentially dangerous choice willfully. But if I just decided one day "hey, I like girls more than guys, so that's what I'm going to do" who cares? That choice is perfectly valid. That wouldn't make my sex life or the relationship I'd pursue any less worthy.
