Nobody on NCIS is good at boundaries. Remember the episode where McGee was bitten by a dog, but was somehow treated as in the wrong for being afraid of it? And then he was convinced to adopt it in the end?

Fun times, fun times. /s

But yeah, I agree with you, actually; I was hoping something interesting would happen the first time Dinozzo Sr. showed up, and nope, it just got awful, which is annoying, because I actually liked NCIS when it first started. :/ Oh well, that's what fanfic's for, I guess.

Now that the show's on Netflix I've been rewatching it from the beginning and ...

eh, nvm. I'll just make a scret out of this.

My brothers are doing the same thing, and they keep asking my if I'm going to join them, but honestly? By this point I prefer the fanon versions of the characters more than the canon ones (oops).

I've only seen a couple of episodes of this show (and enjoyed it) but wowww that sounds bad.

Yeah, it was in the 5x13 episode "Dog Tags".

And like, it was just a friendly little nip; it was a bit from a German Shepard that was bad enough to draw blood.

But of course, Abby falls in love with it, and the dog couldn't possibly have done any wrong! The ending (according to the wiki, as I haven't seen the episode in a while) goeth thusly:

She [Abby] then gets up and approaches McGee before placing her hands on his shoulders and she tells McGee that he deserves to be happy.

McGee tries to get out of it but Abby tells him that he's been looking for a dog.

"That dog tasted my blood and I think he liked it", McGee says.

Remembering what Jenny said earlier, Abby tells McGee that he sometimes has to look at the reality in front of him and accept it before confirming that McGee's taking "Jethro".

Emphasis mine, because what the hell Abby! You can't just do that to someone, especially when it's the same dog they were attacked by; even if it turns out that there were legitimate extenuating circumstances, the person's fear is totally valid!

With that, she drags McGee over to where "Jethro" is.

Once the two are together, Abby orders both of them to shake hands but neither obeys.

Abby then tells "Jethro" that he has to be the bigger man and as such, both eventually hold their right hands and shake hands while "Jethro" growls at McGee.

It then cuts to McGee who has his eyes raised to the ceiling as he starts to wonder what he's let himself in for.

Great job Abby. /eyeroll

Just. Ugh. D:
