I haven't seen it but lots of questionable (as far as quality goes) media inspires fanwork. Even if the film is so-so (or worse, lol) that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to enjoy aspects of it. Maybe there's someone out there wanting fic. *shrugs*

(Maybe your fic could even help someone enjoy the source material more! Frankly, I've been in a few fandoms where some of the fic was way better than the writing in the source material and it helped me form a greater attachment to the media.)
