I do have very high pain tolerance. I have dislocations and subluxations in my joints all the time, so piercing my lip was small time. It wasn't something I realised until I got elbowed in the face by an enormous man in a mosh pit, and my friends were yelling and trying to check if I still had all my teeth, and I was like "guys nothing is broken. chill" that maybe I was the weird one. I didn't even move. I was just standing there still watching the band play like nothing had happened.

Unintentionally badass.

I wish I was the same way!! I have ridiculously low pain tolerance. This is seriously like some sort of superpower.

I know you're pretty sick in other regards, though... so I guess it comes at a price.

I'm still a big baby about tiny little stinging sensations. Paper cuts make me wince and sometimes swear. Swallowing a sharp chip made me shed a single tear yesterday. Kind of funny. Sitting in bed with heat packs on my back and my knee in a support brace and it's the chip that hurts most.
I usually don't take any pain relief for Hemiplegic Migraines. The staff at the hospital I went to while I was having one because I'd spiked a high fever were all D: WE NEED TO GIVE YOU DRUGS OR YOU WILL HAVE A SEIZURE. STOP BEING DIFFICULT.

Sometimes at parties I bet that I can leave my hand in the ice bucket for longer than other people can and I get free money. That is a perk.
