Re: Unpopular Holiday Opinions

I love Halloween, but then, I'm American, I love costumes and dressing up, I love decking out the yard in creepy stuff and pumpkins, and it was my dad's birthday, so we always had a big party when I was growing up. The readymade plastic crap gets annoying sometimes and I hate how cheap the mass-produced costumes look for how expensive they are (I know it's an economies of scale thing, but they even look like shit next to regular mass-produced clothes). But when I was little either my mom made my costume or we raided thrift stores, and since my teens I've made my own. I just wish the drought wasn't so bad and people weren't such assholes; when I still grew pumpkins in the front yard they used to get stolen.
