Listen anon she's not celebrating Nazi Germany. She's just playing an actress on the set of Triumph Of The Will

Less useful because Triumph Of The Will was a contemporary documentary.

The phrase you want is "She's just playing an actress on the set of Inglourious Basterds or Downfall or Swing Kids or something."

lol that analogy is hilariously and obviously wrong. the video is not about someone shooting an anti-colonialism movie in the 2010s, which is what the equivalent of Inglorious Basterds would be. the video is set in the 1950s, when colonialism was still actively happening in Africa, and it's not anti-colonialism - it just ignores colonialism entirely in favor of just focusing on glamour and wealth.

I agree that Triumph of the Will is not actually the right analogy (because it's an explicitly political documentary) but cmon son, jesus christ your analogy is fucking bad and dumb lmao

That doesn't work unless the movie they're filming is a propaganda piece about how colonialism is the greatest thing ever.
