I used to be okay with RPF and then I watched this youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aoglfBZvyc) and it made me feel so bad for that poor girl that I've been quietly anti ever since.

The only RPF fic I really like are setting AUS, like Space pirates, regency and other stuff because it's out there enough and different enough that the real people names might as well be OCs.

Real person RP however is a very big NO for me.

Agreed. If it's very AU, for instance steampunk spies or Regency romance AU, or involves magic or impossible sci-fi elements I have no trouble reading RPF.

Basically if there's no way that the author or anyone reading it could possibly think it was a commentary on the real characters involved.
