Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead. The Village would be one of my picks, too, but it's not really in line with the first two I listed. I may be an outlier in liking that movie.

Zombieland is one I keep thinking about but never watching, but I love Shaun of the Dead. I have vague memories of having seen The Village and being kind of neutral about it.

Shaun of the Dead is so, SO good. I wouldn't consider it a scary movie myself, but regardless it's a damn enjoyable film.
