In Boston I kept my place at 60 year round. It was actually cheaper because heat is more expensive than air conditioning.

Thanks for the rest. I'll keep that in mind. No money for a new pillow, but we're going to try to find a cheep fan and Ill try the thing with the ice water.

Good luck--I think the combination of the cool water and the fan might help. And maybe a couple of cotton maxi dresses for daytime?
