I sympathize. I like cool temperatures, and just melt and feel immensely uncomfortable in the heat. I absolutely know the feeling of not being able to sleep in the heat - my current apartment doesn't have AC at all. 80 degrees is way too hot for me, too. Anyway you can ask your parents for a little compromise? Maybe 75 degrees instead? They shouldn't feel too much of a difference, but it might help for you. I think it's completely normal to talk to them about it. Obviously it is there house so they get the final say, but I'd think your parents wouldn't might adjusting a little for you to be comfortable. I'd think a couple of degrees shouldn't make a huge difference, especially if you explain it's too hot for you to sleep.

Otherwise, there are apparently "portable air conditioners" that you might be able to get for your room. Don't know how well they work and the cost over a hundred dollars. For me, fans themselves aren't usually enough to cool me down if they are just blowing around hot air, but maybe one large one could help you too.
