strength training

I found this video on youtube (15-minute beginner weight training by Hasfit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0bhE67HuDY), and I liked it, but I have no qualifications to judge it. So, people who are more activity-minded than me, is this a pretty good workout for beginners? Are they being done correctly? (It's a series of exercises done three times, so once you've seen the first round, it's just more of the same for 10 more minutes).

Also, I struggle with squats. Like, I can watch what he's doing and hear him explain it and understand the right way from the wrong way...I just can't really tell if my body is doing it correctly.

Those are all pretty simple, low-stress exercises. You can definitely do them as a beginner. And what's nice is, if you get dumbbells in a couple of different weights, you can very easily dial up the difficulty over time.

For squats, do you have a full-size mirror you could watch yourself in while you do them? That could help you get the form down. Also, you could try squatting in front of a chair. Make sure the edge of your butt hits the edge of the seat each time you go down, and don't move your shoulders at all, keep them straight and squared. Like, imagine they're on a vertical track.
