That fuck at the end of the first season of SAO. I mean SAO was a fucking piece of shit in every way possible, but that part, where he's all I TRAPPED 10,000 PEOPLE IN A GAME AND HAD THEM START DYING BECAUSE I WANTED TO BUILD SANDCASTLES AS A CHILD or whatever that shit was
and then Kirito is all O YES I UNDERSTAND THIS IS PERFECTLY UNDERSTANDABLE DEAR MAN

if you put that way, yes, it is.

but....

nerve gear is a machines that conduct experiment on human brain wave and being distribute as product, i don't know about technology advanced on video gaming, but people in SAO were eager to own it, not knowing the implications that meant to happen. well, the nerve gear intercept most human's sensory.

as for the person who make the nerve gear, it is a business, make more 'great' invention. i thought thought he die in the end.

Yes, but he made it impossible for them to log out on purpose because he wanted to play god.
I mean yeah, excuse gamers for thinking that the people selling them a game wouldn't be trying to actively murder them and buying a VR game.

Distributing machines which are experimental without actually telling the people "oh by the way there's a high risk of death because we're sticking you in this game on purpose lolol" is beyond unethical. Way beyond.

yes, pretty much the idea of nerve gear(ng) is controversial. pretty much the inventor is f**king happy with himself.

ps:i think ng is a 'nanowave' helmet that definitely 'cook' your brain with or without you getting it unplugged.
