I've been named in a secret. It hurt more than I expected, but I'm OK with it. Honestly, I appreciate being noticed over being ignored. And if people have a problem with me, I think it's better that I know--even if it drives me into a month-long funk.

Maybe I'm wrong about that? Maybe I don't really want to know what people think of me?

No, enough of that. I still vote for letting secrets like that in. It's not like we don't get people complaining about other users on the second page.
