They don't really know what causes it, theories range from blood flowing away from the intestines during a run (this is most common in long distance runners), to intestinal hormone secretion.

I'm sorry to crush your hopes anon, but ulcerative colitis comes with all of the crazy diarrhea stories and pooping while standing (usually in line for the bathroom).

Lol what are you expecting? To get a proper turd out you've got to at least pop a squat, I think. You couldn't poop proper standing straight up as the poop would prolly just get trapped in between your butcheeks.
