A new human ancestor was discovered (http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2015/09/150910-homo-naledi-human-ancestor-species-reaction-science/) and that makes me anthropology geek in me squee!

The awe was inspired mostly by the sheer number of fossils—more than 1,500 bones, all of them from a remote chamber in the cave system called Rising Star, 30 miles northwest of Johannesburg.

Wow. That's a really significant find.

Seriously, how can anyone believe this? It's just more Murdoch sensationalism. I bet the cave doesn't even exist.

I think they're making fun of everyone's reaction to 21st Century Fox buying a controlling stake in National Geographic.
