I just want to ask, since you've played Tresspasser, can you end up with your Inquisitor dead? Because I have come around to thinking, for my personal headcanon, that that is the best result (there's RP-related things involved in that).

And I don't mean dead from random battle killing them, I mean dead from plot reasons.

No, I don't think so. After the boss fight, there is a fairly lengthy scene that has several options but it always leads to the same fate for the Inquisitor as far as I remember. They also need to survive because at the very end, you need to decide on the future of the Inquisition. However, I think there are ways to headcanon the Inquisitor dying after the end of the game anyway in several different ways.

I suppose I will have to play it through to be sure myself, all I know right now is that it works better for Elenaria's (the Hero of Ferelden) ongoing story if Shangraile (the Inquisitor) dies.

I just read up on it and the Inquisitor survives in any case.

There also is some seriously myth/history/religion canon changing information in that DLC and it's basically a huge setup for the next game, so playing it yourself would be a good idea.
