Admittedly, I'm not a fan of the book series (never read it), but that trailer is awesome and I don't really understand what there is to be mad about? I feel the same way about that fake Star Trek: Into Darkness teaser trailer that came out back in 2013. It fooled me, and yeah I was disappointed (and a bit embarrassed to have been so credulous) when it turned out to be fake. But only because it made me feel like the people who were in charge of the movie were people who could be trusted to understand the source and do great things with it. Which is a feeling that I think, as fans, we rarely get to have. In the case of both these trailers, I enjoyed having that feeling, and being impressed by what I was seeing, and when it turned out it was a fake trailer? Well, at least I could take comfort in knowing that someone out there had such a striking, exciting idea of what could be done with the source text.
