I did a little squee the first time I realized she's actually full-commander rank (and thereby perfectly capable to captain the ship in emergencies). And now I kind of want a Star Trek Med show where a ship of doctors goes around doing good.

Well, maybe not a whole show, but something.

Actually, a medical show in space is high on the list of things I'd really, really like. We've had scifi crime shows. Now how about a medical one (that isn't about a plague or zombies).
