Oooh, I never even considered that option, and Valerie was my fandom bicycle back in the day! (I shipped her with everyone, swear to god. I was so mad the one Sam/Valerie fic I liked never finished.)

I ship them in stuff that I don't ship her with Danny (not to say I think of them as the same person, I do seem them as becoming very different people once Danielle grows up. Just....I like both of them with Valerie.

I've seen it a little bit in other places and I wrote stuff for it with a friend.

Sam/Valerie? That sounds intriguing. They could have some fascinating chemistry.
