Person of Interest, anyone?

I'm just starting to watch S4 now and would love to discuss it. Have they changed writers? I do like the new setup with how they're simultaneously using the Machine, but also being watched by Samaritan. I also like how they've upped the stakes with the cover identities.

Not 100% sure about Iris, though. Admittedly part of this is that I ship Reese and Finch. But I also can't help but feel like she's being added as a chess-piece so she can be put in danger at an opportune moment.

Hopefully she gets given some backstory or something like the other female characters.

Also am I the only one who is super disappointed with the quality of fic on Ao3 at the moment? Maybe I should write my own.

I love POI (though I haven't managed to watch the last 4 episodes of last season yet).

I also ship Reese/Finch. I'm pretty indifferent to Iris (is that the psychiatrist's name?). All I want is for Samaritan to be taken out, along with its organization.

If you do find good fic, let me know. I don't have the energy to wade through a ton of fics, so the only ones I read were back in the first season. I'd love some good recs.

You know what, I'll see if I can make a rec list and post it on FS! Not today, but later.

IA that a lot of the good fics were earlier ones, S1/S2. I think this is true of a lot of fandoms, though - the earlier back you go, the more IC and toned-down they are. The more recent you go, the more you start getting OOC crap and bizarre AUs.
