If I had finished reading it, it may have, but I came across an 'All Grown Up and Gone their Separate Ways they hate each other now' Recess fic. It was basically WAY OTT and only Spinelli had her personality. Everyone else was just bitter and it had NO spirit of the show at all.

Albeit the fanfic was about an accidental murder they did as kids....
