The Mists of Avalon with the Marion Zimmer Bradley stuff. Okay... to be honest, I still enjoy the book, but I feel guilty about that.

Yeah. There's some cases of people screaming PEDOPHILE!!! about a celebrity where I'm like "Oh, come on, real life is more complicated than that", but MZB & Company are absolutely not one of them. That shit was terrifying.

For me it's the Darkover series. I can't stop loving it, it was such a huge part of my childhood and there are so many great things about it...
