I've applied everywhere from law firms to Burger King. It seems like I'm overqualified for all the stuff I'm not underqualified for. At least the temp agency around here has work for me, so my revenue stream isn't zero.

I have the same problem and I hate how people act like I'd be hired at once if only I'd "lowered my expectations". Because it's not like employers expect overqualified people to leave as soon as they find something better or something...
