Why do we have to do this? This discussion. Can we just agree that rape is bad and no one should be raped, and that everyone should stop raping everyone else, and stop fucking taking sides on this goddamn thing?

I agree with all of that, but I'm also really sick of men derailing a discussion that has nothing to do with them by pretending it does.

Depends on if the men have been raped. If they have, I think they can weigh in on discussions about rape. The problem is, are we really going to ask for proof before we allow men who have been raped to join in the conversation? If so, we would then need to ask the same of women, and not just let all women freely discuss rape whether they've experienced it or not, because assuming that no man could be a rape victim is just as shitty as assuming that all women are.

Policing who is allowed to speak on a topic is a slippery slope.
