what are they?

has to be something achievable and somewhat ordinary

-a cat
-stop anonning everywhere and make some internet friends
-a lot of pens

Longer and (permanently) a couple of shades lighter hair, a larger desk, and a freezer full of ice cream.

- a job: nothing fancy, something 9-5 or even part-time to start with but somewhere I can get to with public transport.
- fandom friends: IRL or online, I don't care. They don't even have to share all/most/any(?) of my fandoms, just sort of understand what I'm talking about. Most of my friends are such grown-ups these days. Ugh.

That's sort of it. If I really had to pick a third one, it's a toss up between a nice apartment and the motivation/skill required to cook my own dinner every night. Probably the latter. I'm sure those frozen dinners will come back to haunt me sooner or later.

A permanent salaried job
Meeting someone to flirt with and maybe, you know, feel some romantic chemistry with, see where things go, that kind of thing
A balcony or porch for my apartment

A liver transplant for my mom. (Okay it's not super likely but it's not "turn into a dragon" impossible.)
The promotion I just interviewed for. (I apparently did really well but I had my first ever customer complaint last week that went in my file so eh.)
For the California/West Coast drought have a big enough dent put in it to end by 2017. (Eh, it's not impossible but it would require biblical disaster levels of rain.)

Well, one of the last big El Niño years, the front page of our local paper was a picture of some dude kayaking down the middle of the street, waiting at a stoplight. Our house flooded and flower bulbs from our garden came up "downstream" from us for quite a ways. Eh. If my mom got a liver out of it somehow (B-plot of disaster movie--get sick mother to hospital in a kayak) I'd be okay with that. Not so much the people in danger of death by mudslide, or the drought that happens in other parts of the world as part of the El Niño weather pattern, or the economic damage it does to the state.

My parents bring me back green beans from their Cracker Barrel lunch with friends that I'm not invited to tomorrow. Cracker Barrel green beans are the epitome of food, and I want some. A whole meal would be nice, but I'll take just the green beans.

That I win one of the movie passes to see Black Mass that I entered to try to win.

That my mouth would stop hurting. Dentist had to cut back my gum, and it still hurts almost a week later.

I also want to not be so goddamn crippled in the right wrist or the left ankle. Guess that would take a wish about my back being magically realigned and good, and the right wrist not being all carpal tunnel shit.
