fuckboy did originate from poc lgbt people, but it has since spread (and yes, everyone can use it, contrary to what tumblr will try to tell you)

POC LGBT people? got evidence for that? I've never heard of it being "poc" in origin, it's been in gay porn videos for decades.

I doubt there are actual studies published about it, but I've been in the gay community long enough to know about some of its history.

If you have any older black or latino gay/lesbian/trans friends who live in NY/LA/CA/any big city, they will most likely a) use it in everyday lingo or b) know someone who frequently uses the word.

But why do you think non-POC LGBT people did not use the word, too? That's where I'm confused, because it's clear that it was used within the gay community of all colors at least in the 80s and 90s.
