Re: Is this what you men, OP?

I think so -- rape is about power. A woman raping a man is still inherently acting in a way that's meant to assert power. I mean, a man raped by a woman is taken even LESS seriously than a man raped by another man in a patriarchal system. There's a reason a lot of people mistakenly believe that a woman can't rape a man.

So I'd still say it applies.

You know, the woman I knew who raped a BUNCH of guys was, in some sense, trying to assert power over them. She had a taste for skinny, pretty, twinky white boys who wouldn't usually look twice at her. So she'd get them too drunk to know what they were doing, rape them, and then tell them that she'd tell everyone they raped her unless they agreed to be her boyfriend.

On a certain level, I bet she felt oppressed by society's dictates of who's allowed access to the pretty white boys, and she wanted to assert her power and prove that she COULD have those boys if she wanted. Those boys' prettiness and power over her libido was not stronger than her clever lifehacks. And by clever lifehacks I mean serial rape.

OMG wow, that's awful.

I sincerely hope she gets caught so she can be kept away from everyone, if she thinks rape is a "clever lifehack"
