Yeah, those markets are generally terrible, mostly ways to make money off of punters who have heard of at most one or two people on the list, and in no way a reliable indicator for who it's going to be.

It's like the Nobel Literature betting market - every year, Haruki Murakami and Bob Dylan are near the top of the market, despite the fact that neither of them will *ever* win a Nobel. But it's still good for a few headlines, some publicity, and a few dollars from morons.
