It's beautiful to watch. I dislike Turnbull, but he is such a sassy, sassy bastard.

Bye Tony! You will not be missed.
I love that Bishop is supporting this. This is better entertainment than the Bachie.
Betrayal. Betrayal everywhere.

Did anyone not see this coming? Anyone?

I love how Shorten has just been casually at the centre of a union scandal, and he's still polling ahead of Tony.

I'm not bored of this yet.
Actually I'm still not bored of this:

Stay classy, guys.

UPDATE:

HOCKEY IS TEAM TONY.

Couldn't resist the opportunity to mock Labor in the same breath.

Lol have you seen the age's polling? The viewers are 71% Turnball. Not that that is a great indicator of the 100 or so cabinet members who will be deciding tonight, but amusing.

Politics is so populist at the moment, so that polling will probably count for something amongst the undecided members.

I think i will watch it, cabinet is always a hilarious angry thing to watch.

Can't say many of us are surprised that this was going to happen, i wonder how it's going to play out. especially since i think next year is an election year?

can't say i'm keen on either of them, but i think i prefer turnbull. BUT if abbott stays in the liberals probably won't win the next election, he's doing such a poor job. But with turnball they may have a chance.

how will this end *gets the cheesecake*

Turnbull is definitely better suited to politics, and not embarrassing himself and the nation.
He sort of reminds me of a shark. Have you seen his pointy little teeth?

I think if he got in, he's smart enough to know that he needs to be likeable at least in the short term to have any chance of beating out Bill in the election. He's not going to rock the boat or start knighting people.

Well the prediction was that Tony would call an early election next year, possibly before the budget in May. Who the hell knows now.

I will bring the popcorn. We'll have a party.

*offers lamingtons and lemon squash*

Shorten's an utterly forgettable kind of man and head of a party disappearing up its own arse. If it's a contest on charisma, I think a party headed by Turnbull'd win hands down. Since Labor's intent on following the leader policy-wise anyway. Hmm.
