Just out of curiosity, about how old are you? For instance, do you remember when the Berlin wall came down?

I'm 30. I meant now. Countries like England and France and Germany are currently pretty liberal and socialist. They at least have way more social programs than the US does. And so I'm surprised when I see new restrictions on these things when that is just different from what I picture of modern Europe. I don't expect them to be as bad as us.

I understand you meant now, I'm just wondering how you can just sort of forget about the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain. It's not like things magically became a paradise in Europe in the last 25-30 years.
