I read fanfic rants way back in the day before the SJW invasion. I understand the desire for such a community. Even now I read descriptions for some fic and I'm like "really?" But I don't feel ranty like I used to, more amused and bemused for the most part. I think publicly making fun of fic is mean, where I used to have virtually no problem with it (remember sporking?). I'm glad that style of mockery, and mockery of fic in general has fallen out of style.
