The Thor movies are great! (I prefer fantasy too, tbh, and have a weakness for Norse stuff anyway.) The second one's a bit overblown, and the first one is a bit confusing (without those deleted scenes), but they're still ace.

I never ventured into the fandom for this show (aside from a few tag searches on Tumblr once or twice). Reality show fandoms are the worst usually.

Haven't seen the movies but I have no idea how you'd adapt it into movie form without running into those problems. I mean, the movie is hard to follow if you didn't read the manga? The manga is hard to follow for people who did read the manga. I love it deeply but it is, in many ways, a completely absurd manga. It was completely absurd to try to tell a story like that. And with casting - I mean, it's a huge cast, you're just not going to be able to deal with everyone.

I hope they got God right, though. God owned.
