>a Turkish series presents America inaccurately in a scene
>literally no one will see it but them

>an American tv series that airs worldwide in all networks portrays Turks inaccurately
>congrats now tens of millions of viewers in the States and all around the globe have an ignorant view about Turks

lmao my mom in Albania used to watch crime shows like 24, Homeland and NCIS because she loves the genre, and yeah at some point got reeeally sick of how shittily they kept on portraying Muslims for the whole world to witness.

I remember that one episode, don't remember if it was Law & Order SVU or New York or whichever. But they had this amazingly offensive portrayal of the Czech Reblublic as this pedo paradise where the little children were openly pimped out everywhere and nobody cared until the great American police came and made Europol do something about it.

It was so incredibly cringey.

I have seen so many offensive portrayals of EE countries that the Civilized American Protag visits that I am so not surprised.

Who is comparing anything to anything? The strawman in your head. The ONLY thing the people in this thread are saying is that people who make TV in other countries do, in fact, have the intellectual capacity to make fun of America, and they're not all ignorant noble savages.

And not a hypothetical country either. One of them is called Japan.
